I have told you what I believe are the essentials of this change but you can read about this further on the Swagbucks blog post about this change. You will read that this has angered many bloggers as it really impacts how much they are able to make off of Swagbucks each month. I can understand their feelings but since my blog is small, this really doesn't have much impact on me. Some bloggers have even threatened to quit Swagbucks. As in any rewards program, you should evaluate if this program works for you. Are you getting the benefits from your efforts? For me, I see Swagbucks as "free cash" (in the form of Amazon gift cards). What's my effort...frankly not much compared to the reward. I would be searching the internet anyway so using Swagbucks instead of another search engine has become a habit. I do have to put forth some effort to snag the Swagcodes but the effort isn't a lot -- usually just a couple of minutes and I am online anyway so why not grab them. It does take a little more of my time to blog about the Swagcodes, but I want you all to enjoy the rewards of Swagbucks also. Am I better off being a Swagbucks member? Absolutely for me. An extra $25 bucks per month -- I am very grateful for it.
